In Krzysztof Czeczot's Star an actor (Maciej Tomaszewski) is overpowered by his obsession about the text, the role with which he identifies himself entirely. A lonely, unfulfilled man, standing on the edge of despair and madness, "a body which only glows superficially", a body which glows with reflected light, the light that has already faded out, it's a man who is doomed for eternal insatiability, for always existing "only as a likeness" to someone else.
